The Pennsylvania Antique Dealers Association was founded in 1968 to provide a professional association through which persons in the antiques business could meet to exchange information and ideas. With its rebirth in 1998, PADA is rededicated to enhancing knowledge about antiques and the antiques business among professional traders and the general public.

PADA is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation organized and operated for professional education purposes.

Members include antique dealers, auctioneers, interior designers, antique show promoters, antique mall managers, and other individuals allied to the antiques profession.
